REPERCUSSIONS OF BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL Significant federal SNAP cuts and eligibility restrictions resulting from the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” (H.R. 1) have removed over 3.5 million Americans from food assistance, driven by stricter work mandates, new immigrant caps, and shifting administrative costs to states.
Our client reported a notice from SNAP (Food Stamps) reducing her allocation from $190 to $24/month – Starting August, 2026. Reductions will be felt by a countless number of Philadelphians.
